The purpose of this Law is to regulate legal relations in the field of public service.

The objectives of this Law are:

1) establishment of the legal basis for admission to public service, its passage and termination;

2) regulation of the status, basic rights and duties, legal and social guarantees of civil servants, and the activities of other persons in state bodies;

3) implementation of state control over compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of public service.
