1. The main objectives of this Law are to achieve and maintain special conditions for teachers, consolidate their status, and enhance their legal status.

2. This Law is based on the principles of humanism, justice, free development of professional qualities of teachers, equality of the rights of teachers to engage in professional activity, protection of their rights and legitimate interests.

3. This Law is aimed at fulfilling the following main objectives:

1) providing social guarantees to teachers;

2) the establishment of restrictions on the exercise of unusual functions by teachers;

3) teachers improve their knowledge based on the latest achievements of science, technology and culture;

4) teachers' compliance with the provisions of pedagogical ethics.

This Law defines the status of a teacher, establishes the rights, social guarantees and restrictions, duties and responsibilities of a teacher.
