Article 3. Accountability Of The National Bank Of Kazakhstan Of The Law On The National Bank Of The Republic Of Kazakhstan
The National Bank of Kazakhstan is accountable to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Accountability to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
designation by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the consent of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, of the Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan; his release from duty;
appointment to the debt and discharge from the duties of the Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

approval by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the design concept for banknotes and coins of the national currency-tenge;
submission by the National Bank of Kazakhstan of information requested by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on matters within its competence.
