Article 3. Judicial system of the Constitutional Law On the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The judicial system of the Republic of Kazakhstan consists of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local and other courts established in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and this Constitutional Law.
The establishment of special and extraordinary courts under any name is not allowed.
2. Local courts include:
1) regional and equivalent courts (city court of the capital of the republic, city courts of cities of republican significance);
2) district and equivalent courts (city court, interdistrict court).
3. Other courts may be established in the Republic of Kazakhstan, including cassation courts, specialized courts (military, financial, economic, administrative, juvenile and others).
3-1. Specialized courts are formed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the status of a regional or district court.
3-2. Cassation courts are formed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the status of an interregional court.
4. The Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local and other courts have a seal with the image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan and their name.
5. The court of the Astana International Financial Center, which is not part of the judicial system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has a special status.
