1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of physical culture and sports is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. If an international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes rules other than those provided for by this Law, the rules of the international treaty shall apply.

3. Legal relations regulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of physical culture and sports are not subject to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on public procurement in terms of the acquisition of services of the state sports order.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of physical culture and sports, defines the legal, organizational, economic and social foundations for ensuring the activities and development of mass physical culture, amateur and professional sports in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
