1. The main objectives of the accreditation are:

1) protection of consumer interests in matters of safety and quality of products, processes, and services;

2) increasing the competitiveness of domestic products;

3) improving the quality and reliability of conformity assessment;

4) removing technical barriers to trade;

5) creation of conditions for domestic products to enter the foreign market and recognition of the results of the work of the subjects of accreditation of the Republic of Kazakhstan by international organizations and foreign countries.

2. The principles of accreditation are:

1) voluntary;

2) availability of information on procedures and criteria for accreditation;

3) transparency of accreditation activities in the field of conformity assessment;

4) Non-discrimination;

5) competence;

6) the unity and integrity of the accreditation system;

7) independence;

8) the inadmissibility of combining accreditation activities with conformity assessment activities;

9) the priority of using the standards of international (regional) organizations in the implementation of accreditation.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2008 No. 61-IV.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of accreditation of conformity assessment bodies, as well as related relations.
