1. The purpose of regulation in the field of valuation activities is the development of valuation activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The objectives of regulation in the field of evaluation activities are:

1) establishment of the legal basis for evaluation activities;

2) definition of the basic principles and directions of the evaluation activity;

3) creating conditions for improving the professional level of the members of the Chamber of Appraisers;

4) strengthening trust in the evaluation institute in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. The principles of regulation in the field of evaluation activities are:

1) legality in carrying out evaluation activities;

2) objectivity in the implementation of evaluation activities;

3) reliability during the assessment;

4) independence in the implementation of evaluation activities;

5) confidentiality in the performance of the obligation by the subjects of the assessment activity to preserve the information received or compiled by them as a result of the assessment without the right to transfer them to third parties or verbally disclose the information contained therein, except in cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations related to the implementation of valuation activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also defines the legal basis for regulating valuation activities.
