Article 3. Purpose, objectives, and principles of this Law The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Soil Protection   

      1. The purpose of this Law is to establish legal foundations for the rational use of soils, sustainable soil management, and soil protection, and their protection from degradation and other negative impacts.

      2. The objectives of this Law are:

      1) ensuring state regulation in the field of soil protection;

      2) ensuring the rational use and protection of soils, and the restoration of degraded soils;

      3) scientific support for activities in the field of soil protection;

      4) development of international cooperation.

      3. The principles of this Law are:

      1) the priority of preserving soil as the most important natural component;

      2) transparency, completeness, and reliability of information on the condition of soils. 

On soil protection, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 8, 2026 No. 341-VIII SAM 

This Law regulates public relations in the field of soil protection and defines their legal, economic and organizational bases.
