1. This Law is valid on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and applies to public relations related to access to information that is not related to information with limited access.

2. This Law does not apply to appeals of individuals and legal entities, the procedure for consideration of which is established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on administrative offenses, administrative proceedings, as well as criminal procedure, civil procedure legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. This Law does not apply to the procedure for reviewing requests established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the National Archival Fund and Archives".

4. This Law does not apply to the procedure for providing information to the mass media provided for by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Mass Media".

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 16, 2015 No. 401-V SAM.

This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise of everyone's constitutional right to freely receive and disseminate information in any manner not prohibited by law.
