Article 30. Material, financial and social support for the activities of deputies of the Constitutional Law on the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Status of its Deputies

     1. The salaries of members of Parliament shall be established in accordance with the procedure provided for in subparagraph 9-1) of Article 66 of the Constitution of the Republic.

     2. Deputies residing outside the capital of the Republic are provided with comfortable and furnished housing for the duration of their term of office on the terms of gratuitous use from the state housing stock and according to the norms established by law.

     3. In order to maintain the relationship of a member of Parliament with his constituents, systematically inform them about the activities of the Parliament, and fulfill the instructions of the Parliament, its Chambers and their bodies, each deputy is given the right:

     1) extraordinary purchase of transport travel documents;

     2) business trips to electoral districts. At the same time, travel expenses are reimbursed from funds allocated in accordance with the procedure provided for in subparagraph 9-1) of Article 66 of the Constitution of the Republic.

     4. If a deputy is sent on a business trip to fulfill the instructions of the Parliament, its Chambers and their bodies, he is paid for travel expenses according to the norms established by law.

     5. Members of Parliament are serviced by road within the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, their medical and health-improving and sanatorium-resort services are carried out in accordance with the procedure established by the President of the Republic.

     5-1. Upon the expiration of his term of office, as well as in the event of resignation or dissolution of Parliament or the Mazhilis of Parliament, and until he reaches employment or retirement age, a monthly allowance equal to his average monthly salary is paid, but not more than three months from the date of termination of office or satisfaction of the resignation letter.
