1. This Law shall enter into force six months after its first official publication.

2. Owners and (or) operators are obliged to bring regulatory legal acts and other documents into compliance with the requirements of this Law within three months from the date of entry into force of this Law.

3. The collection and processing of personal data carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan prior to the entry into force of this Law shall be deemed to comply with the requirements of this Law if their further processing and protection correspond to the purposes of their collection.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of personal data, as well as defines the purpose, principles and legal basis of activities related to the collection, processing and protection of personal data.
