Article 32. The oath of a judge of the Constitutional Law on the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. A person who has been elected or appointed to the position of a judge for the first time shall take the following oath::
"I solemnly swear to perform my duties honestly and conscientiously, to administer justice, obeying only the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to be impartial and fair, as my duty as a judge dictates."
2. The Chairman and judges of the Supreme Court take the oath of office at a meeting of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. (deleted by the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 17.11.2008 N 80-IV (for the procedure of entry into force, see art. 2).
4. The person appointed for the first time to the position of chairman, chairman of the judicial board and judge of the regional court, chairman and judge of the district court, shall take the oath at the plenary session of the regional court.
When appointing a judge as chairman or chairman of a judicial board or judge of another court, the oath shall not be repeated.
