Article 34-1. The age limit for holding office as a judge of the Constitutional Law on the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. When a judge reaches the retirement age established by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Supreme Judicial Council may continue to hold office as a judge until he reaches the age limit.
2. A judge may hold office until he reaches the age limit of sixty–five years, which, in exceptional cases, may be extended for no more than five years in accordance with the procedure provided for in paragraph 1 of this article.
