Article 35-1. The obligation to provide railway transport under the Railway Transport Act  

     Owners of railway transport are obliged to provide railway transport to law enforcement and special state bodies (except for representative offices of foreign states and international organizations with diplomatic immunity) for travel to places of accidents, emergencies and delivery to medical institutions of citizens in need of emergency medical care, in accordance with the procedure provided for in Article 35 of this Law.

     The owners of railway transport are reimbursed for the costs of using transport in the cases provided for in the first part of this article, as well as the damage caused from the state budget in accordance with the procedure established by the civil legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The provision of railway transport (with the exception of representative offices of foreign states and international organizations with diplomatic immunity) by their owners for the elimination of natural and man-made emergencies and their consequences, as well as reimbursement of expenses for the use of railway transport are carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Protection", except for the cases provided for in Parts one and two the second of this article.

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 2001 No. 266.

      This Law regulates public relations between carriers, participants in the transportation process, government agencies, passengers, senders, recipients, shippers, consignees, and other individuals and legal entities when transporting passengers, baggage, cargo, baggage, and mail by rail.
