1. Employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices, as well as equivalent representative offices of international organizations accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan, are allowed into premises and other places at checkpoints where border and other types of control are carried out, provided they have passes issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Ambassadors of foreign states in the Republic of Kazakhstan are allowed to enter the specified security zones on the basis of accreditation certificates.

3. It is prohibited for military personnel of the Border Guard Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, military communications bodies, employees of state revenue bodies and other bodies, transport organizations who have passes of the established pattern, but are not involved in organizing and controlling the service, as well as shifts in registration and maintenance of persons, vehicles, cargo and goods, to be on the territory of the checkpoint.

4. Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who have arrived at checkpoints and lost their documents for entry into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan during their stay abroad are voluntarily left at checkpoints for the time necessary to establish their identity. The procedure for their detention at checkpoints is determined by the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

5. In the event that the identity of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who arrived at the checkpoint could not be confirmed, he is subject to transfer to the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan by territorial jurisdiction.

The internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at the request of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, inform about the decision taken in respect of these citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of protection of the State border of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
