Article 38-2. Academy of Justice under the Supreme Judicial Council of the Constitutional Law on the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     The Academy of Justice under the Supreme Judicial Council (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) implements postgraduate educational programs, carries out retraining, advanced training of judicial system personnel and scientific activities.

     Citizens who meet the requirements stipulated by this Constitutional Law may study at the Academy according to postgraduate education programs within the framework of a state order.

     For training in the magistracy within the framework of the state order, the Supreme Judicial Council has the right to set a quota by region, taking into account the available vacant positions of judges of district courts for the corresponding year.

     The Supreme Judicial Council is the authorized body responsible for the overall management of the Academy.

     The education, status and organization of the Academy's work are determined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
