Article 39. Offices of the Chambers of the Parliament of the Republic of the Constitutional Law On the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Status of its Deputies

     1. The separate offices of the Senate and the Mazhilis shall provide organizational, legal, information, analytical and other support for the activities of the Parliament.

     2. The structure and staffing of the Senate and Mazhilis offices, and their formation are carried out by the Bureaus of the Chambers within the budget funds allocated to finance the activities of the Parliament.

     3. The activities of the offices of the Senate and the Mazhilis are carried out in accordance with the regulatory legal acts of the Republic on public service.

     4. With the expiration of the terms of office of the Parliament or the Mazhilis of Parliament, in the event of the dissolution of the Parliament or the Mazhilis of Parliament and the election of a new composition of its deputies, the activities of civil servants in the offices of the Chambers of Parliament do not cease.

     5. Employees of the Senate and Mazhilis offices are equated with the corresponding employees of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of their status, size and level of wages, and other conditions of material, financial, and social security.

     This Constitutional Law, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the organization and activities of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the legal status of its deputies.
