Article 4. Assigning localities to an agglomeration The Law on the Development of Agglomerations
1. The criteria for classifying settlements as agglomerations are:
1) the presence of daily labor, industrial, socio-cultural and other connections with the agglomeration center;
2) the tendency towards territorial merging with the agglomeration center.
2. The assignment of settlements to an agglomeration is carried out by including them in the agglomeration, the order of formation of which is determined by the authorized body.
3. The inclusion of settlements in the agglomeration is carried out by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the proposal of the authorized body.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 1, 2023 No. 181-VII SAM.
This Law regulates public relations aimed at creating legal and organizational conditions for the formation, development and functioning of agglomerations in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
