Article 4. Competence of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of creation and functioning of the Semipalatinsk Nuclear Safety Zone of the Law on the Semipalatinsk Nuclear Safety Zone

The competence of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of creation and operation of the Semipalatinsk Nuclear Safety Zone includes:

1) development of the main directions of state policy in the field of creation and functioning of the Semipalatinsk nuclear Safety Zone;

2) creation of the Semipalatinsk nuclear safety zone, establishment and modification of borders, areas of its land plots;

3) determination of the authorized organization on the proposal of the authorized body;

4) performing other functions assigned to him by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations arising from the establishment and operation of the Semipalatinsk Nuclear Safety Zone.
