1. Regulatory legal acts aimed at limiting or infringing on equal rights and equal opportunities of men and women may be challenged in court in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Measures aimed at:

1) protection of motherhood, childhood and fatherhood;

2) protection of women in connection with pregnancy and childbirth;

3) increasing the life expectancy of men;

4) protection of women in criminal, criminal procedure and penal enforcement legislation.

Differences, exclusions, preferences and restrictions that are determined by the requirements inherent in this type of work or are due to the special care of the State for persons in need of increased social and legal protection do not constitute discrimination.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 2009 No. 223-IV.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of ensuring State guarantees of equal rights and equal opportunities for men and women and establishes basic principles and norms concerning the creation of conditions for gender equality in all spheres of State and public life.
