Article 4. Goals and objectives of the Prosecutor's Office of the Constitutional Law on the Prosecutor's Office

     In order to protect a person, his life, rights and freedoms as the highest values of the state, and ensure legality in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Prosecutor's Office performs the following tasks:

     1) protection and restoration of violated human and civil rights and freedoms, legally protected interests of legal entities, society and the state;

     2) identification and elimination of violations of legality, the causes and conditions contributing to them, as well as their consequences;

     3) coordination of the activities of law enforcement and other government agencies to ensure legality, law and order and combat crime;

     4) other tasks determined by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     This Constitutional Law defines the competence, organization and procedure of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
