1. The objectives of the volunteer activity are:

1) providing assistance to individuals and legal entities, protecting the health of citizens, protecting and protecting the environment, developing physical culture and sports, as well as other goals aimed at ensuring public goods;

2) the formation of a civic position, self-organization, a sense of social responsibility, solidarity, mutual assistance and charity in society.

2. The tasks of volunteering include:

1) assistance to society in solving social problems;

2) development and support of civic initiatives aimed at organizing volunteer activities;

3) development and implementation of measures to enhance the role of volunteerism in cooperation with various target groups and categories of the population;

4) organization and conduct of counseling, information and methodological support for volunteers;

5) formation of a group of volunteers – performers of volunteer programs (projects) and volunteer actions;

6) organization of volunteer training.

3. Volunteer activities may not be aimed at supporting political parties and religious associations.

4. Volunteer activities that pursue terrorism, extremism and separatism in any form and manifestations are prohibited.

5. On the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is prohibited to create volunteer organizations of the type of paramilitary formations with a paramilitary structure, uniforms, special insignia, anthems, flags, pennants, special conditions for internal discipline and management, weapons, including imitation ones.

This Law establishes the legal basis, goals and objectives, principles, forms and types, as well as measures to support volunteer activities.
