Article 4. Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on enforcement proceedings and the status of bailiffs The Law on Enforcement Proceedings and the Status of Bailiffs
1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on enforcement proceedings and the status of bailiffs is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. International treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan have priority over this Law. The procedure and conditions of operation in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of international treaties to which the Republic of Kazakhstan is a party are determined by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. The provisions of this Law applicable to second-tier banks and insurance (reinsurance) organizations shall apply to branches of non-resident banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan and branches of non-resident insurance organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
