1. The objects of geodetic and cartographic activity are the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the territory of the globe, airspace and outer space, including natural celestial bodies and artificial Earth satellites.

2. Subjects of geodetic and cartographic activity are the central state bodies and local executive bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan within their competence established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as individuals and legal entities.
