1. The objects of the securities market of the Republic of Kazakhstan are:

1) non-governmental equity securities of organizations - residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the issue of which is registered by the authorized body in accordance with the procedure established by this Law and other legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) non-governmental equity securities of non-resident organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the issue of which is registered by an authorized body or admitted to circulation on the organized securities market of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) non-governmental equity securities of organizations-residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the issue of which is registered in accordance with the legislation of a foreign state and admitted to circulation on the organized securities market of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the procedure established by the regulatory legal act of the authorized body;

4) equity securities of international financial organizations, the issue of which has been registered by the authorized body or admitted to circulation on the organized securities market of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the procedure established by the regulatory legal act of the authorized body;

5) government equity securities;

5-1) foreign government-issued securities;

5-2) securities, the issue of which is registered in accordance with the acts of the Astana International Financial Center;

6) derivative securities and other financial instruments.

2. The types of equity securities are determined in accordance with the Civil Code, this Law and other legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 2, 2003 No. 461.

 This Law regulates public relations arising in the process of issuing, placing, circulating and redeeming equity securities and other financial instruments, the specifics of the creation and operation of securities market entities, defines the procedure for regulating, controlling and supervising the securities market in order to ensure the safe, open and effective functioning of the securities market, and the protection of investors' rights. and holders of securities, fair competition of securities market participants.
