Article 4. The main purpose and objectives of ensuring access to information of the Law on Access to Information
1. The main purpose of ensuring access to information is to create a legal framework to ensure the effective exercise of everyone's constitutional right to freely receive and disseminate information in any manner not prohibited by law.
2. The main tasks of providing access to information:
1) creation of legal, economic and social conditions for free and equal access to information;
2) protection and protection of everyone's right to access information;
3) regulation of public relations between information owners and users;
4) establishment of mechanisms for the implementation of the right of access to information and responsibility for the illegal restriction of this right;
5) timely and complete informing of information users;
6) definition of organizational, technical and other requirements for providing information holders with access to information.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 16, 2015 No. 401-V SAM.
This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise of everyone's constitutional right to freely receive and disseminate information in any manner not prohibited by law.
