 1. The main purpose of this Law is to regulate public relations arising in connection with the realization of children's rights to receive and disseminate information aimed at protecting children from information harmful to their health and development.

2. The main objectives of this Law are:

1) ensuring the protection of children's rights and legitimate interests from information harmful to their health and development;

2) international cooperation in the field of protecting children from information harmful to their health and development.

3. The basic principles of this Law are:

1) ensuring that the state protects the rights and legitimate interests of children, taking into account their mental and age characteristics and vulnerability to the negative influence of the information environment;

2) the consistency and complexity of government measures to ensure the protection of children from information harmful to their health and development;

3) taking into account historical and other traditions, cultural values of society and the state for the proper upbringing and full-fledged development of children;

4) the permissibility of restrictions by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the rights of children to freely receive and disseminate information harmful to their health and development.
