Article 4. Types of activities in the field of radioactive waste management of the Law on Radioactive Waste Management

     This Law applies to the following types of activities in the field of radioactive waste management:

     1) the stages of the life cycle of radioactive waste management facilities, including their placement, construction, commissioning, operation, decommissioning and closure, as well as post-operational monitoring and control carried out to ensure nuclear, radiation and environmental safety;

     2) radioactive waste management, as well as transfer and reception of radioactive waste;

     3) performing works and services in the field of radioactive waste management, including research, design, development, engineering and expert work, manufacturing, supply and maintenance of equipment, radiation monitoring, physical protection, accounting and control of radioactive waste, training, education and certification of personnel, as well as other works and services that have an impact on nuclear and radiation safety;

     4) other types of activities in the field of radioactive waste management.
