Article 43. Passage of military training The Law on Military Service and the Status of Military Personnel
1. Those liable for military service are called up for training, verification and special military training, as well as are involved in military training classes.
2. Military conscripts are called up for training camps of up to two months every five years.
3. Persons liable for military service in the period between training camps may be involved in verification training camps for up to fifteen days.
4. The total period of fees for the period of stay in the reserve may not exceed eighteen months for those liable for military service. At the same time, the total period of stay at the training camps is also counted as the time spent at the screening camps.
5. Special military training camps are held for up to three months.
6. For those liable for military service, their place of work and position are retained for the period of military training, they are paid an average salary, and non–employees receive a minimum wage from budgetary funds.
The time spent by a person liable for military service outside the location of the place of training without valid reasons is not counted during the period of military training.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of military service by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and defines the foundations of the state policy on social security for military personnel.
