Article 44. Establishment and publication of election results of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Article 44. Establishment and publication of election results of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The results of the presidential and parliamentary elections are determined by the Central Election Commission.

     2. The results of the elections of deputies of the maslikhat, akim, and other local self-government bodies are established by the territorial election commission.

     3. The election results are recorded in a protocol signed by the Chairman and members of the election commission. In the absence of the Chairman of the commission, the minutes shall be signed by the Deputy Chairman or Secretary of the commission instead.

     4. Announcement of the election results:

     1) The President and members of Parliament shall be published in the mass media by the Central Election Commission no later than ten days from the date of the election.;

     2) deputies of maslikhats are published in the local mass media by the relevant territorial election commissions no later than seven days from the date of the election.;

     3) akims and members of local self-government bodies other than maslikhats are published in local mass media by the relevant territorial election commission no later than seven days from the date of the election.

     5. The Central (Territorial) Election Commission's message shall specify: the date of the election, the total number of citizens included in the lists of voters (electors) and who took part in voting; the total number of electoral districts; the total number of candidates who ran; the number of voters who voted on absentee ballots; the number of voters who voted outside the polling station; the number of political parties who participated in the elections; the number of administrative-territorial units (electoral districts) in which a repeat vote will be held; the number of votes cast for each presidential candidate, deputies of the Senate of Parliament, deputies of the Mazhilis of Parliament and Maslikhat, elected in single-mandate territorial electoral districts, for each political party in the corresponding administrative-territorial unit; the number of ballots marked "Against all"; the elected President, deputies of the Senate of Parliament, deputies of the Mazhilis of Parliament and maslikhats elected in single-mandate territorial electoral districts, akim, members of other local self-government bodies indicating the surname, first name, patronymic (if it is indicated in the identity document), year of birth, position (occupation), place of residence, as well as depending on the candidate's discretion, information about his affiliation to a political party or nationality.

     The data in the reports of the Central and territorial Election Commissions are presented by electoral districts.
