Article 47. Guarantees of candidates' activities during the election campaign of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. Candidates for President, members of Parliament, maslikhats, and akims have the right to be released from work, military service, and military training from the date of their registration until the election results are published. The time of the candidates' participation in the elections is counted in the length of service in the specialty in which he worked before the day of registration.

     2. Candidates for President, members of Parliament, maslikhats, akims, and members of other local self-government bodies may not be dismissed from their jobs, transferred to another job or position without their consent, or sent on a business trip or called up for military training from the date of their registration until the election results are published.

     3. Candidates for President and members of Parliament from the day of their registration until the publication of the election results, as well as before their registration as President or Member of Parliament, may not be detained, detained, house arrested, brought to court, or subjected to administrative penalties without the consent of the Central Election Commission. criminal liability, except in cases of arrest at the scene of a crime or the commission of a grave or especially grave crime.
