HR Department within its competence:

1) analyzes and plans the law enforcement agency's need for personnel;

2) coordinates the activities of the structural divisions of the law enforcement agency for the implementation of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on law enforcement service;

3) ensures compliance with the procedures for certification and competitive selection, promotion, bringing employees to disciplinary responsibility, and dismissal of employees;

4) organizes the preliminary examination and selection of candidates for law enforcement service, personnel selection, draws up documents related to the passage of law enforcement officers;

5) ensures compliance with restrictions related to staying in law enforcement service;

6) in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organizes internships, mentoring, training, retraining and advanced training of employees and candidates for service;

7) keeps records of personal data of employees, information about the results of certification and training;

8) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/11/2022 No. 136-VII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

9) evaluates the results of staffing and the quality of work of personnel policy subjects in accordance with the methodology approved by the head of the law enforcement agency;

10) organizes organizational and staff events;

11) exercise other powers established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 6, 2011 No. 380-IV.

This Law regulates public relations related to admission to the law enforcement service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its passage and termination, and also defines the legal status (status), financial support and social protection of law enforcement officers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
