Article 5. Bodies, officials and organizations engaged in activities in the field of ensuring equal rights and equal opportunities for men and women of the Law on State Guarantees of Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities for Men and Women

The bodies and officials engaged in activities in the field of ensuring equal rights and equal opportunities for men and women are:

1) The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) central executive bodies within their competence;

4) local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital within their competence.

Other bodies and organizations ensure the observance of equal rights and equal opportunities for men and women in accordance with this Law, other laws, acts of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 2009 No. 223-IV.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of ensuring State guarantees of equal rights and equal opportunities for men and women and establishes basic principles and norms concerning the creation of conditions for gender equality in all spheres of State and public life.
