Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) develops the main directions of state policy in the field of production and turnover of organic products and organizes their implementation;

2) performs other functions assigned to him by the Constitution, this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law defines the legal, economic, social and organizational foundations of the production and turnover of organic products, aimed at the conservation and rational use of natural resources, assistance in the formation of a healthy diet and the development of the market of organic products.
