Article 5. Equal suffrage of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. Voters participate in the elections of the President, deputies of the Mazhilis of Parliament and maslikhats, as well as in the elections of mayors on an equal basis, and each of them has one vote per ballot, respectively.

     2. Voters participate in elections of members of other local self-government bodies of the Republic on equal grounds and each of them has an equal number of votes.

     3. Candidates are guaranteed equal rights and conditions of participation in elections.
