1. The forms of state regulation of trading activities are:

1) determination of the procedure for carrying out trading activities;

2) determining the conditions for the movement of goods across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union, which coincides with the State border of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2-1) determining the conditions for the movement of goods in the course of mutual trade between the member States of the Eurasian Economic Union;

3) stimulating the development of trading activities;

4) state control over compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation of trading activities;

5) Certification.

2. The methods of state regulation of trading activities are:

1) customs and tariff regulation of foreign trade activities;

2) non-tariff regulation of foreign trade activities;

3) suspension of the sale and (or) prohibition of the sale of goods in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

4) the use of special protective, anti-dumping and countervailing measures;

5) participation in international economic sanctions;

6) application of retaliatory measures;

7) the application of special types of prohibitions and restrictions;

8) application of a compensatory measure;

9) the application of measures imposed based on the interests of national security.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 12, 2004 No. 544.

This Law regulates public relations in the sphere of trade activity, establishes the principles and organizational bases of its state regulation.
