1. Civil liability of private notaries operating in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan is subject to compulsory insurance.

2. The conclusion by a private notary of a voluntary insurance contract for his civil liability related to the performance of notarial activities does not release him from the obligation to conclude a compulsory liability insurance contract for private notaries.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 11, 2003 No. 435.

This Law regulates public relations arising in connection with compulsory insurance of civil liability of private notaries, and establishes the legal, economic and organizational basis for its implementation.
