Members of the Security Council:

1) participate in meetings and operational meetings of the Security Council, in the discussion and voting when the Security Council makes decisions on the issues on the agenda;

2) ensure, within their competence, the implementation of decisions of the Security Council, coordinate and monitor the implementation of relevant decisions of the Security Council and operational meetings of the Security Council;

3) exercise other powers in accordance with the Regulations on the Security Council, decisions of the Security Council and instructions from the Chairman of the Security Council.

This Law defines the legal status, competence and organization of activities of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
