Article 5. Principles of creation and activity of trade unions The Law on Trade Unions
1. Trade unions are established according to the industrial and sectoral principle.
2. Trade unions independently develop and approve charters, structure, determine priority areas of activity, form trade union bodies, organize activities, hold meetings, conferences, congresses and other events not prohibited by legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. Trade unions are independent in their activities from government agencies at all levels, political parties, employers and their associations, and are not controlled or accountable to them.
4. Trade unions may form trade union associations in accordance with the procedure established by this Law.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 27, 2014 No. 211-V SAM.
This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise by citizens of the constitutional right to freedom of association, the creation, operation, reorganization and liquidation of trade unions.
