Article 5. Principles of State Statistics of the Law On State Statistics
The basic principles of state statistics are:
1) consistency and comparability of state statistics with generally accepted international standards, classifications and methods;
2) professional independence and independence in carrying out statistical activities;
3) ensuring equal access of users to official statistical information;
4) confidentiality and use of primary statistical data solely for statistical purposes;
5) the use of all types of information sources, taking into account the quality, timeliness, costs and burden on respondents;
6) reliability, scientific validity, timely provision and accessibility of official statistical information;
7) ensuring the safety and security of statistical information, primary statistical, administrative and alternative data.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 19, 2010 No. 257-IV.
This Law regulates public relations arising in the process of state statistical activity, as well as in determining the quality of administrative data, and is aimed at meeting the needs of society, the State and the international community for official statistical information.
