Article 51. Housing provision of the Constitutional Law on the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. Judges are provided with housing at the expense of the republican budget.

     2. A judge and members of his family shall be provided, on an extraordinary basis, but no later than six months from the date of assuming office, with a well-maintained living space from the state housing stock in accordance with the norms excluding the assignment of a judge to the category of citizens in need of improved housing conditions. Office premises occupied for permanent residence by a judge may, at his request, be privatized in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     3. Upon dismissal of a judge, eviction of him and family members from their office premises is impossible without the provision of other residential premises.

     4. In the cases provided for in subparagraph 9) of paragraph 1 of Article 34 of this Constitutional Law, upon dismissal from the post of a judge, he is granted the right to privatize his office premises in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
