1. Academies established as a legal entity without the participation of the state, having the word "national" in their name, are obliged to bring their name in line with the requirements of this Law and amend the constituent documents within one year.

2. In case of non-compliance with the requirement established by paragraph 1 of this Article, academies established as a legal entity without the participation of the state are subject to judicial liquidation at the request of the authorized body in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of science, scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities, commercialization of the results of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities, defines the basic principles and mechanisms of functioning and development of the national scientific system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
