1. The remuneration of civil servants should provide sufficient material conditions for the unconditional and exhaustive performance of official duties, facilitate the staffing of government agencies with competent and experienced personnel, and stimulate their conscientious and proactive work.

2. The remuneration of civil servants is established differentially depending on the nature, volume and results of the work performed by civil servants.

3. Remuneration of civil servants, with the exception of civil servants of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the authorized body for regulation, control and supervision of the financial market and financial organizations, is carried out in accordance with the unified remuneration system for all bodies maintained by the state budget, approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in coordination with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The procedure and conditions for the payment of bonuses, the provision of financial assistance to civil servants, as well as the establishment of allowances for official salaries of administrative civil servants of the corps "B" are determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. Civil servants are paid at the expense of the republican and local budgets, funds of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, unless otherwise provided by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the return of illegally acquired assets to the State".

5. Salaries and other payments to administrative civil servants are subject to indexation in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

6. The length of service of civil servants, which gives the right to establish an official salary, is calculated in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body in coordination with the Office of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
