Article 53. Time limits for consideration of appeals by the Constitutional Court. The Constitutional Law On the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The Constitutional Court considers the appeal and makes a final decision on it within one month from the date of acceptance of the appeal to the constitutional proceedings. At the same time, the final decision on citizens' appeals is made within three months from the date of the adoption of the appeal to the constitutional proceedings. Taking into account the complexity of the application and the need for a more complete investigation of all the circumstances, the specified time limits may be extended by the Constitutional Court for a reasonable period of time, and interested persons are notified about this.
At the request of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stated in writing or electronically, the deadline for making a final decision on the appeal sent by him may be reduced to ten calendar days, if the issue is urgent.
If the Constitutional Court unites related appeals into one constitutional proceeding, the time period provided for by this Constitutional Law for making a final decision shall be calculated from the date of receipt of the last appeal.
