1. The state participates in project financing as a customer in accordance with the procedure and on the terms established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Public-Private Partnership".

2. The choice of the contractor under the basic agreement is carried out on a competitive basis in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of public-private partnership.

3. The contractor under the basic agreement is obliged to notify the state in writing within ten calendar days of the assignment of the rights of claim to creditors or a special financial company.

This Law establishes the legal basis and conditions for project financing and securitization in the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the specifics of the assignment of claims and the legal regime of property in project financing and securitization, the legal status of a special financial company, as well as the legal basis and conditions for syndicated financing.
