1. A commodity exchange is a legal entity established in the organizational and legal form of a joint-stock company that provides organizational and technical support for trading by conducting them directly using the electronic trading system of a commodity exchange.

Exchange trades in socially significant exchange-traded goods are carried out by commodity exchanges determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of a competition.

The commodity exchange ensures that trades are conducted in accordance with the established rules of exchange trading.

2. The name of the commodity exchange must contain the words "commodity exchange".

3. Abrogated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 27.10.2015 No. 364-V (for the procedure of entry into force, see art. 2).

4.4. The minimum size of the authorized capital of the commodity exchange is at least two billion tenge.

At the same time, at least one billion tenge is deposited in cash.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 4, 2009 No. 155-IV.

This Law regulates public relations arising in the course of commodity exchanges and exchange trading, establishes the procedure for regulating and state control over the activities of commodity exchanges in order to ensure their open and effective functioning, protect the rights of participants in exchange trading and fair competition between them.
