Authorized body in the field of education:

1) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 26.06.2021 No. 56-VII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

2) defines uniform principles and standards of special conditions for education;

2-1) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/03/2013 No. 124-V (effective after ten calendar days after its first official publication);

3) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 26.06.2021 No. 56-VII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

4) establishes a list of types and types of special education organizations; determines the required number of places in educational organizations for people in need of special education;

5) establishes mandatory minimum requirements for the material, technical, educational and methodological equipment and provision of educational organizations providing education to children with disabilities;

6) determines the methods of student certification;

7) jointly with the authorized bodies in the field of public health and social protection, develops and approves regulatory requirements for technical means of teaching children with disabilities;

7-1) jointly with the authorized bodies in the field of public health and social protection, defines standards of social services and social security in the field of social, medical and pedagogical correctional support for children with disabilities;

8) coordinates the activities of scientific and methodological support of educational organizations;

9) exercises state control over the implementation of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and regulatory legal acts in the field of special education;

10) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/03/2013 No. 124-V (effective after ten calendar days after its first official publication);

12) exercise other powers provided for by this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 11, 2002 No. 343.

This Law defines the forms and methods of social, medical and pedagogical correctional support for children with disabilities, is aimed at creating an effective system of assistance to children with developmental disabilities, solving problems related to their upbringing, education, labor and vocational training, and preventing childhood disability.
