Authorized body:

1) performs strategic, regulatory and implementation functions within its competence;

1-1) on the basis of and in pursuance of the main directions of the domestic and foreign policy of the state, defined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the main directions of the socio-economic policy of the state, its defense capability, security, and public order, developed by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, formulates a state policy on self-regulation in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) develops and approves the rules for maintaining the register of self-regulating organizations;

3) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05/24/2018 No. 156-VI (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);

4) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05/24/2018 No. 156-VI (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);

4-1) develops and approves the rules for concluding an agreement on recognition of performance with a self-regulatory organization based on voluntary membership (participation);

4-2) develops and approves regulatory legal acts in the field of self-regulation in accordance with the objectives of this Law and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan

5) exercise other powers provided for by this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations related to the self-regulation of business and professional entities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the conditions for the establishment and functioning of self-regulatory organizations, membership (participation) in them and their legal status.
