Authorized body:

1) on the basis of and in pursuance of the main directions of the internal and foreign policy of the state, defined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the main directions of the socio-economic policy of the state, its defense capability, security, and public order, developed by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, forms and implements the state youth policy in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) carries out coordination and methodological guidance of local executive bodies on issues of state youth policy;

3) carries out interaction and cooperation with youth organizations on issues of state youth policy;

4) carries out the formation, monitoring of the implementation and evaluation of the results of the state social order on issues of state youth policy;

5) carries out explanatory work on issues of state youth policy;

8) organizes and coordinates the work on the preparation of the national report "Youth of Kazakhstan";

12) approves the procedure for awarding, the amount of monetary remuneration and the nomination of the Daryn State Youth Award;

12-1) develops and approves rules for the provision of rent-free housing to working youth;

12-2) develops and, in coordination with the authorized state body for labor, approves the rules for the creation, organization, provision of youth labor groups, as well as monitoring their activities.;

12-3) was deleted in the wording of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 10.01.2025 No. 153-VIII (entered into force after ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

13) promotes the development of youth volunteerism;

13-2) develops and approves regulatory legal acts in the field of state youth policy in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

14) exercise other powers provided for by this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations arising in the field of state youth policy.
