Article 6. General requirements for advertising Chapter 2. General and special requirements for advertising The Law on Advertising
1. Advertising, regardless of the form or means of distribution or placement used, including the field of e-commerce, must be reliable and recognizable immediately at the time of its presentation.
2. Advertising on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (with the exception of periodicals, online resources, and news agencies) is distributed in the Kazakh language, and at the advertiser's discretion, also in Russian and (or) other languages.
The translation of the ad content should not distort its main meaning.
The text of the advertisement must comply with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

4. Advertising of goods (works, services) prohibited for production and sale in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan is not allowed.
If the activities carried out by the advertiser are subject to licensing, then when advertising the relevant goods (works, services), as well as when advertising the advertiser himself, it is necessary to indicate the license number and the name of the licensing authority, except for radio advertising.
4-1. In advertising goods (works, services) sold in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the price (tariffs, rates, rates) is indicated in tenge.
5. Advertising of religious associations and spiritual (religious) educational organizations that are not registered in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan is prohibited.
5-1. Advertising of electronic casinos and online casinos is prohibited.
5-2. It is prohibited to distribute advertising by means of sound information in an open space outside premises (buildings, structures and their complexes) in populated areas, in the right-of-way of public roads.
6. Advertising should not be used to promote or agitate a violent change in the constitutional order, violation of the integrity of the Republic of Kazakhstan, undermining the security of the state, war, social, racial, national, religious, class and tribal superiority, the cult of cruelty and violence, pornography, as well as the dissemination of information constituting state secrets of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other legally protected secrets.
7. Advertising should not cause panic in society, incite individuals to aggression, as well as to other illegal actions (inaction).

9. In social advertising, it is not allowed to mention means of individualization, individuals and legal entities, except in the cases provided for in this paragraph.
The established restrictions do not apply to mentions of government agencies, local governments, sponsors, individuals in need of special social services or in need of medical treatment in order to provide them with charitable assistance. In social advertising, it is allowed to mention socially oriented non-profit organizations in cases where the content of this advertisement is directly related to information about the activities of such non-profit organizations aimed at achieving charitable or other socially useful goals.
In social advertising distributed in radio programs, the duration of mentions of sponsors may not exceed three seconds for each, in social advertising distributed in television programs, film and video services - three seconds for each, and no more than seven percent of the frame area should be allocated to such a mention, and in social advertising distributed in other ways, – no more than five percent of the advertising area (space). These restrictions do not apply to mentions in social advertising of individuals in need of special social services or in need of medical treatment in order to provide them with charitable assistance.
10. Restrictions on advertising are established by this Law and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates the relations arising in the process of production, distribution, placement and use of advertising in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
